By registering for this event, the athlete acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions set forth by WNBF Australia. Please read carefully before proceeding.
Provisional Results: All contest placings and the awarding of WNBF Pro Cards are provisional. Official recognition by WNBF Australia and its international affiliates is strictly contingent upon the receipt of a negative urinalysis result for all prohibited substances.
Public Disclosure: To maintain the highest standards of transparency and integrity, athletes explicitly consent to the public disclosure of all drug testing results (both negative and positive), including the athlete's full name. These results will be made accessible via the official WNBF Australia website and/or social media channels.
Polygraph Requirements: Violations of WADA and WNBF prohibited substance policies (see 10-Year Rule below) are taken with the utmost seriousness. Any athlete determined to be in violation of these policies following polygraph testing will be immediately disqualified and will not be permitted to compete in the event under any circumstances. The cost of this polygraph examination is the sole responsibility of the athlete. Failure to complete or disclose the absence of a polygraph test prior to stage entry will result in immediate disqualification.
Out-of-Competition Testing: WNBF Australia reserves the right to conduct random, unannounced urinalysis testing at any time throughout the year. While WNBF Australia will cover the cost of random testing and strive for logistical convenience, any refusal to cooperate or complete the test will result in an immediate and potentially permanent ban from all WNBF events globally.
The 10-Year Rule: Eligibility is strictly limited to athletes who have been free of prohibited substances for a minimum of ten (10) years. Read more about our 10-Year Rule →
Binding Results: The athlete agrees to accept the findings of polygraph and urinalysis testing as final and binding. By registering, the athlete waives the right to pursue legal action against WNBF Australia, its affiliates, or the contracted testing officials regarding test outcomes or the subsequent publication of results.
Content Consent: The athlete grants WNBF Australia and its affiliates an irrevocable, royalty-free right to use photographic and video materials captured during the event for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes across all media platforms.
Professional Conduct: Athletes are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the event (including check-ins and backstage activity) and must adhere to all WNBF Australia criteria and safety standards.
Limitation of Liability: WNBF Australia explicitly disclaims liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the event. This includes, but is not limited to, incidents arising from the athlete's own negligence or failure to comply with venue and federation standards.
General Policy: Once the Late Entry Period commences, no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, except as outlined in the Medical Exemption section below.
Entry Fee Credits: If you withdraw prior to the Late Period, you are eligible for a credit toward future WNBF Australia entry fees. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the WNBF Australia administration team.
Membership Fees: All WNBF Membership fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, as these provide year-long eligibility and administrative coverage. However, in the case of a medical exemption the Membership eligibility period may be extended.
Medical Exemptions: If you are unable to compete due to a documented medical condition or injury, you may be eligible for a refund even after the Late Period has commenced. To apply, you must provide a valid medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
Violation of WNBF 10-Year Rule: WNBF Australia will issue no refunds or credits under any circumstances for any competition related fees (i.e., membership, competition entries, and polygraph test) if an athlete is determined to be ineligible to compete following polygraph protocols.
These terms apply to all WNBF Australia sanctioned events. For enquiries, contact [email protected]
