AUSTRALIAN ATHLETES WISHING TO COMPETE IN WNBF INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

One of the benefits of becoming a member of WNBF Australia is the vast network of WNBF events you have access to around the world. Competing overseas provides athletes with unique experiences, different stages, and expands their community and networks of natural athletes.

International Competition

Interested in competing overseas?

If you reside in Australia and have an Australian address, you are an Australian athlete and must apply for WNBF Australia membership before competing both within Australia or with an overseas WNBF Affiliate (e.g. WNBF New Zealand).

Steps to compete with WNBF overseas (excluding WNBF Worlds)

  1. Purchase your WNBF Australia membership (Join here)
  2. Email us to seek permission to compete overseas ([email protected])
  3. Purchase your registration with the WNBF Affiliate you wish to compete with
  4. Forward the email response confirming permission to the President of the WNBF Affiliation you will be competing with

Note: We understand the timing of shows within your season can be a challenge. It is therefore not necessary to compete on a WNBF Australia stage if wishing to compete overseas. This is not the case, however, for WNBF Worlds (see below).

Steps to represent Australia at WNBF Worlds

  1. Purchase your WNBF Australia membership (Join here)
  2. Email us to inform us of your desire to join WNBF Team Australia ([email protected])
  3. Register and compete at WNBF Australia Natural Elite in Season A or Season B of the year you wish to compete at WNBF Worlds
  4. Register with WNBF Official for WNBF Worlds

Note: Team Australia will be kept updated of key information regarding travel to Worlds and the competition itself. Being part of this team means we're in it together, and this is an exciting opportunity for amateurs and pros alike!

INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES

NON-AUSTRALIAN ATHLETES WISHING TO COMPETE IN A WNBF AUSTRALIA EVENT

We welcome all international athletes to compete with WNBF AUSTRALIA.

International athletes should first:

  1. Purchase a WNBF membership from their respective affiliate (home) country, then
  2. Please obtain permission from your country's WNBF president to ensure eligibility and forward the email with permission granted to [email protected]
  3. Go ahead and purchase class entry for our events on the event section of our website.

For example, if you are a Malaysian athlete, you should:

  1. Purchase a WNBF membership in Malaysia before competing in Australia
  2. Get permission from the president of WNBF Malaysia and forward that email to us
  3. Once permission is received you can simply register for our events

If there is no WNBF affiliate in your country, you will purchase a WNBF AUSTRALIA membership through our website Join WNBF Australia
